The Dancing Piano: A Summer Course for Dance Musicians will run from 31st August to 7th September 2018 at Du Boisson Dance Studios, London.

Now in its second year, The Dancing Piano is a rare opportunity to engage in training in a highly specialised skill. You will learn the tools of the trade, discover new ways to think about you and your music, and gain all the professional knowledge needed to succeed in this highly rewarding occupation. In addition, the musical skills you will learn on this Summer Course will leave you with new ideas to utilise in your professional life outside the studio.
Set up and run by Nicki Williamson (The Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Rambert) this is one of the only short length courses of its kind in the world. In a wide ranging career that includes 25 years as a musician for dance Nicki has the experience and knowledge to inspire new musicians to the dance studio and motivate and guide more experienced practitioners through new ideas and techniques.
